Geronimo’s history is as a small wind project developer. Having gone through a four year development process and the learning curve associated with that, we have a great appreciation for the amount of time, dedication and stick to it nature necessary to bring a project from “promising” to operating. Small developers create a lot of value throughout the project development process. Unfortunately, there are some significant barriers to bringing a project to fruition, including access to turbines and the significant capital necessary to build the project. Geronimo has the expertise and access to capital and turbines necessary to bring projects to fruition and we believe that we can help other small developers bring their projects over the finish line. Furthermore, we are willing to partner with small developers early and put our capital and time at risk alongside the developer so as to align our incentives.
